While THE TORMENT OF RACHEL AMES is the shortest piece I’ve published, it was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever written. The enthusiastic reception it’s received from the HWA community has meant a lot to me. I’m excited and honored to be listed next to so many great writers on the preliminary ballot.
